Job Opportunity: Principal Structural Engineer

About the Role
Maligab is seeking a seasoned Principal Structural Engineer to lead and oversee structural engineering design and execution for major projects in Muscat. This role requires technical mastery, leadership, and the ability to deliver innovative, safe, and cost-effective solutions across diverse structural systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Design Leadership: Lead the design and analysis of complex structures, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
- Project Oversight: Manage structural engineering deliverables across multiple projects, ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship and technical direction to engineering teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Risk & Safety: Ensure designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation: Drive adoption of advanced tools, materials, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior/principal role.
- Strong knowledge of international design codes (ACI, Eurocode, BS, etc.).
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in the Middle East.

Pay: RO2,000.000 - RO2,800.000 per month
