Good people on staff but high level managers not great

The Wyndham hires great staff but their executive council is condescending and unorganized. They don’t trust the people they have hired to do their jobs well and are constantly working to train new people due to turnover. They don’t promote managers from within which makes employees angry and makes them leave. They don’t pay great and they are stingy on raises and will call you in later for your shift if you’re about to get overtime so that the top managers can get a bonus for not giving out overtime.
Disorganized management, do not promote from within

La Quinta works with your schedule if you're going to school part-time or have children. The difficulty comes with dealing with customers who are rude or ignorant. The saying "the customer is always right" is not correct. Customers treat front desk disrespectful and the management does not support the front desk agents.

Working with Wyndham really helped me get the fast pace down. Showing me how to talk to guests and be presentable while also being fast paced. The hours were good, work was slightly difficult at first. But the fellow workers helped.
