Responsibilities in Short:
• Worked on both copper and fiber cable networks. • Responsible for testing and network provisioning whilst ensuring that all customer and network documentation is updated and maintained. • Conceptualizing the network for PSTN, internet services (ADSL1, ADSL 2+), VOIP and ISDN for customers. • Guiding the implementation for any new network update. • Handle Exceptions & Perform Provisioning Tasks. • Raise Faults and follow-up for the same. • Establish and maintain working relationships with Operations and Customer Service teams in order to ensure that any impacts to provisioning activities that may result from fault rectification activities are managed. • Handled a team of 16 associates for a year who report to me. • Reporting the team’s progress to the management.
learnt about management be it of time at serving customers or looking after the problems i.e. providing technical support, the hardest part was when the customers could not follow the procedures during technical problem also could not repair it at once took a time of maximum 1 to 3 days. serving people was the most enjoyable part.
Good company to work with and friendly atmosphere, team work, and lastly Good Management. I worked in day shift wherein learnt a lot very quickly with the help of collegues and also various trainings were provided to help master the process.
There is no work which is similar and there were challenges everyday. Everyday was a new learning day and the co-workers and managers were always helpful. There was no hard part as if you have any difficulties and issues the managers or senior persons were always at your back to teach you and help you. Our work was appreciated
