I have always worked in hotels so I enjoyed the work and the people I met I enjoyed having the manager position

Residence inn was closing down for renovations so I had to find work quick so I went back to housekeeping at another company while working at residence inn I was able to move up very quickly due to my attention and detail

Pros

We got to work on the same floor everyday so I knew who was working on those floors

Cons

Con's well you know they never stocked the stocked the carts up up for the next day, so I had to do that also check the rooms to make sure they clean and ready for the next customer

Enjoyed my time here

Nice place to work. Easy work management was alight. Housekeeping staff was cool to work with. Flexible hours as well as days off. Work life balance flexible. Would definitely recommend if anyone is looking to work.

Family Orientated

I love working for Residence Inn! All of the staff that works there are treated as family! The pay isn't the greatest with the inflation prices of Today's world, but sometimes pay isn't what keeps u at a job! Everyone Vibes together there so well. This is a outdoor property so if you don't like being in the elements this place might not work out for u. The buildings are outside accessible only.

Okay place to work

Pretty fun but low staffing a frequent pressure to come in when sick sucks. There is no HR so issues with coworkers are almost never resolved. Lots of hours if you need the money. Lots of expections to do extra work after completing your daily work. Friendly staff though and scheduling if flexible if your new.

I didn't get the position that I was promised

They don't care about their employees. They work us and won't pay me what I deserve as a housekeeping supervisor.I was once happy and love my job but now I'm very uncomfortable being their but I need and love what I do for 30 years.

Management treat employees poorly

They want a lot of work out of you for little pay management are secretive anyone replaceable. Micromanaging to make sure your working like a slave they mess with your hours no overtime.

Great place to work.

Great place to work, employees are nice. Managment is very helpful, everyone works well together.. I like how anyone from any department is willing and will come to help out in other departments.

All employees work together

All management teams get together and work thing through- especially when it comes to hard stubborn guests- also GM will help out as well- enjoyable place to work.

Organization

They can do better managing. You are pulled from many directions especially if you a supervisor in a department you barley can do your on job so it get stressful and they tell you what to do! And fairness is not there some people gets away with things and some don't and it's not fair at all I am ready to leave at this point!

beware as a Supervisor!Run!

Management will suspend you if there's stealing happened in housekeeping dept even there's no evidence if who's housekeeper who done it. They will put the blame to the Supervisor!!!!example: A guest complained something's missing in their roomThey will suspend you without pay!

You have to be stronger and more patient do as they say until you will fine another job or transfer to another location

Its good company to work with.But its depend which or who's Manager run the show and also the culture i felt like i am the lowest person in my work place because of my race or color. Because of Pandemic i work everywhere, That's i don't Mind but working at night Audit and asking for night deferential she's refused to give me Because her Front desk Supervisor not agreed even one of her Front desk associates Because they work her long time than me. I thought they're happy that i help them in front desk and Night Audit but i guess not.The Supervisor in front desk she want me to do Maintenance work but i refused its not a woman job and now she want me to work in housekeeping again instead of Supervisor in housekeeping I think they want me to quit my job.

Im a very hard worker team worker get along well with others. The company moves u up fast if you're a hard workerr i wad transfer from Fairfield to Residence Inn

This is the worst place to work cindy the general manger is a fake non working manger she’s cares more about her needs.shows favoritism never on property and listen to the other so called mangers that’s do nothing but gossips

Great place to work at!

Residence inn is a very challenging hotel, and give you a whole learning experience for those looking forward to make it a career! If you are a hard worker you will definitely move up!

Easy place to work

I was a bartender there for a few months. It was simple and straight-forward. Not too busy at the time, but the pay and tips were decent. My biggest complaint was when the slow season came around, we were promised we wouldn't shut down. Then, one day before my next shift we were told the bar would be shut down for the next month or so. It was very little notice to prepare for a period of no income.
