New Management under Highgate

There is no accountability as people can do w.e they want without fear of repercussions. Management since the Highgate takeover has seem really disconnected.Property is small but experiences issues as if it’s a resort due to people neglecting their job duties

The worst years of my life.

What is the best part of working at the company?Everyone here is a former drug addict or criminal, so no one is going to judge you or hold you to any standard.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Management are actual criminals, run don't walk from this job. You'll never make enough to get by, You'll get treated like garbage by the customers, employees and employers. You're wasting your time unless your record is so bad no one else will hire you What is the work environment and culture like at the company?They'll work you to death. And don't expect a thank you.What is a typical day like for you at the company?Awful. Good days youll only be yelled at a little, bad days you'll never sit down, the phone will never stop, and no one is going to help you.

Excellent coworkers

I would love to talk about their management, but there wasn't one. I worked there just a short period of time (3.5 months) and within those few months we had THREE different managers. Each leaving without explanation. I was reprimanded twice, just for asking basic questions that I was never taught during training. Talked down to like I was incompetent. This company, or this one particular hotel is a joke. I do NOT recommend working for them... EVER!!!

Perfectly acceptable workplace

As a part-time employee, I truly enjoy my shifts. Customer service is not for the faint of heart, but the daily duties are not too demanding & it's exaclty what you would expect from the position.

Amazing place to work

Easy job if you have fandb expierence! Great guests and coworkers. I recommend opening up and taking every opportunity they give you will grow very fast.

Great environment, loved management and meeting new people from all over. Pay was okay be job was very rewarding. I always felt appreciated. Covid came and changed it all. This is one job I miss a lot!

Productive Workplace

The job itself isn’t hard other than dealing with sometimes stressful situations regarding the guests. The management team plays a role in the job and is very helpful.

It's pretty fun to work there.

What is the best part of working at the company?They are easy to communicate with. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Some of the guests are very difficult. Some don't like to follow directions and some make a huge mess. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?It's pretty laid back but you need to do your job. What is a typical day like for you at the company?It's pretty fast paced. There are usually a lot of guests.

Great company to work for

Good place to work if you want to keep busy and at a fast pace. Good benefits for all full time employees also get holiday pay if you work the holidays.

Make sure every guest feels as if they are at home and enjoy their stay with me.

Do my daily list of duties. Make sure breakfast is up and running for guest.

The good and the bad of it

The job WASN'T hard put the employees made the job difficult as they did not complete their share of the work. It was a family fuel type of environment if they could help you they will within reason. Also the free breakfast was a plus.

Good group of people that were decent that I worked beside.

I worked there for 1yr and got let go by corporate management for reasons I still don’t understand. I would recommend having a backup plan due to not ever knowing how and when they will let you go. Other than that I loved my job.

It's a job not a lifeline to build a career

The staff is great. Great team but property management as well as the management company is a challenge. There is no real upward growth or support. There is no grace for mistakes or teaching. No home work life balance. You sell yourself so that they get the work they want out of you and you get a mediocre check and chest pains in return. If you just need the money, go for it, but if you're looking for quality of life management, run as far and as fast as you can.

It Started good

Overall good place to work but definitely favoritism that I saw happen. It started out good then slowly descended into unfavorable conditions for a healthy work environment

Very corporate

They only care about having the restaurant as an amenity. The quality of the restaurant is very poor and Management will shoot down all ideas to improve the quality. Management is awful and will replace people without hesitation. Don't work for this company
