Receive reservation requests and greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner. • Ensure the right implementation of the reservation procedure according to the department SOP. • Handle faxes and E-mails and ensure replying back on time • Handling reservation and revenue reports. • Use up-selling techniques to maximize hotel revenue and ADR • File all reservations in a systematic order • Have a product knowledge including all room types, rates, and descriptions. • Follow up on non-guaranteed bookings • Be aware of all hotel services and facilities including bars and restaurants. • Stay informed of all the events taking place inside and outside the hotel (Fairs, conventions & meetings) • Ensures proper handover to colleagues • Under the supervision of the line manager, be involved in solving problems and guest complains • Ability to make rate code and block code on PMS for groups.
