Competitive and Leadership work culture
Process Scientist (INTRA Placement) (Former Employee) –  Lucan, County DublinJanuary 7, 2020
Very energetic toward their team-morale and bonding. Being welcomed into a team and included in outings made small things like receiving advice, work loads and even criticism a lot easier.
Always looking for improvements in big projects and smaller ones such as daily meetings was a huge part of their culture creating a competitive environment that drove for higher productivity and progress in an enjoyable way.
I learned that time management plays a vastly important role in all parts of the day, from completing online training systems to project delivery. The Technical Services team showed me interesting and unique ways to split time and control it at a comfortable and fast-pace.

best environment an employer could offer to the nature of the business and the stress that comes with it. Provided with the most innovative tools and equipment with justifiable reason. Best work environment and employee moral I could ask for.

Pfizer is a great place to work
Manufacturing Scientist (Current Employee) –  Sanford, NCSeptember 26, 2019
A typical day in manufacturing starts with some sort of changeover or morning meeting then follows with performing tasks as part of the a daily schedule. Some days are more busy than others. In white space, we are encouraged to complete continuous improvement ideas. The culture here is great, especially in manufacturing. The hardest (or worst) part of this job is being on your feet or being on the floor for hours with no water. A lot of manufacturing positions are also rotating shifts which stinks. But I like to be constantly moving and not sitting at a desk all day.

Number not a Name
QC Scientist I (Former Employee) –  Richmond, VAJanuary 26, 2019
Pfizer has a lot of money to spend, but their interest is in RX drugs. They buy companies and sell any division that does not have RX products. You are a number not a name. Management does not listen to their employees in order to improve the workplace, and they typically leave the current management in place for whatever company they buy.

Typical Large Pharmaceutical Company
Scientist (Current Employee) –  Chesterfield, MOJanuary 13, 2019
Like any big business, hard to get things done. Good salary and benefits and decent work life balance. In the 12+ years I've been here, there are ups and downs. For the most part, Pfizer has good management and quality employees and I've had the honor of working with some extremely talented individuals. However, it takes a long time for bad managers/employees to be let go.
