It's start with finding the set up's been done right, and the meals for the guest ready when they come to the Hotel, lunch time it's always a rush, and have their AM or PM breaks in time. We always learn something every day. Our managers trust us, and that a plus. Marriott culture is all about their employee's , making sure that we have a good place to work. When something goes wrong and with a little time make it wright . When the job it's well done, and the guest it's very happy with everything.

Great job!

I loved working here, I developed a lot as a person and loved my coworkers and bosses. I only didnt like the inconsistencies with the hours but thats to be expected in the hospitality field

Fast paced and highly productive work place that celebrates the diversity of its associates

What is the best part of working at the company?Flexible work hours and amazing coworkersWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?As in any corporation, there are goals and deadlines. Both are manageable and management has processes in place to handle it. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Incredible! It’s a very fast paced business with lots of work to get done. I’m fortunate to be on a team that supports and assists one another and also genuinely enjoys one another. It’s a diverse company that truly celebrates one another, personally and culturallyWhat is a typical day like for you at the company?Working and learning. It’s very fast paced with new processes and programs on a regular basis. We also laugh and try to make work fun.

Beaucoup d'expérience à apprendre

Bien qu'on soit dans un domaine de maintenance 1er niveau on peut améliorer toutes nos base en électricité, plomberie, climatisation, sociale, bien tourner les phrases en cas de mauvaise nouvelle. Il y a beaucoup de potentiel à apprendre dans cette entreprise car n'oublions pas que ce sont des maisons équipés à entretenir

Fun and active position

Learning curve is there but easy to overcome with the right guidance from leadership. Job itself is active, but it makes an 8 hour shift feel like just a few hours. 99% of the employees and guests you interact with are nice and pleasant to speak to/work with. I feel truly valued in my position and am glad I am able to be relied upon to get the job done.

Fruitful experience

Great position, can lead to nothing. Really up to how much you want to progress with the company. Work is seemingly unfruitful, mostly just gets your foot in the door. Say goodbye to holidays.

Stressful and rewarding at same time

What is the best part of working at the company?Working with my fellow team and being a very important part of our customer service department. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Some of the immediate management and the pay for the amount of work required on a daily basis. Working for Marriott was the best experience I have ever work the manager the are kind respectful understanding also the coworkers were excellent you can count on them for anything I am grateful for the opportunity the give me to work for them I was really sad leaving them.

The coworkers are not cohesive but petty and 2 faced. Management just ignores it because they just care about the bottom line. The pay was decent and benefits are ok.

Respectful, fun environment

Smiles, friendly uplifting place to be employed. Freedom to speak with upper management should the need arise.. Accepted on every level ,respected no matter what the job , this is equality. A fabulous company that has a modern kind approach to it's employees. Really enjoy their concepts and have learned and grown working at MVW and highly recommend working for this company. Many onsite employees have been there 20+ years and are happy.. Gold stars all around to Marriot for creating a fabulous work environment.

Lying, deceptive, 0 integrity and 0 management backing you

if you have a moral compass, you will have a hard time. the marketing tactics and sales tactics are simply a way to get guest in the door. the things we are told to say and pitch are almost a fallacy.

Culture is great and aimed for long term success, they are open to suggestions What is a typical day like for you at the company?Log in listen to recorded voice-mail from agents update attendance for agents. Respond to emails, communicate via teams. Process reports, update schedules adjust lunch, break, and team meeting times. Update paid time off, voluntary time off, leave of absence, system issues, removal off agents that are no longer employed. Generate new schedules run forecasting, communicate with tech support.

Good environment opportunities for growth

MVW took over former company, they seemed to keep all the good stuff from the former company. Very remote-centered don’t seem to love in office positions. Room for growth

Draining

Been here for 7, almost 8 months now. Working here is just draining. Pay is great, but every schedules are only given on Friday’s every week which is so difficult to make appointments or plans. Overall, draining work place. Management is alright, but not really helpful in anyway. Passive aggressive managers, for sure.

Fun place to work while in school

Fun job with little stress. They were very accommodating with my school class schedule. Great people and good culture. You had a lot of independence in conducting the activities and management is very supportive.
