great place to work, great easy fast money. Big hotel with benefits. Long hours. Also very nice atmosphere and most employees are very fun and outgoing

Poor leadership, ZERO accountability

No one cares, and it shows. You can see it in the broken chairs provided for the employees to do their work in, in the filthy dirty carpet, the thick layers of dust surrounding your work area. Management and employees are friends, never a good sign. No work life balance and expectation of going above and beyond without the pay to match your efforts. Plenty of coworkers were absolute stars, and received no recognition! Lots of empty promises of change with no results.

Lots of benefits

Marriott provides so many benefits. Hotel discounts, free lunch, free parking. The only thing that sucks is there’s no consistency. Every day things are different from the previous day with no explanation from mangers. Hardly any communication from higher ups and short staffed.

Fun work place

Working at JW Marriott Marquis dubai was absolute the best. It gave me the opportunity to train and grow my skills. I started as room attendant and in less than 2yrs I had moved to the reception such a good place to work

Decent place to work

Working here was a good experience. Good work environment. The management was fine. I worked as a laundry attendant for a little more than a year here and overall I had a pretty good experience .

good benefits, everything else sad :(

Long hours, no breaks, managers talk down on you, very toxic work culture, overstaffing. co workers made it bearable. a good place if you need money but mentally checked out, if you are full of life don't work here.

Très instable

Obligation de se mettre en dessous de certaines personnes qui n’ont pas expérience et de mettre des caches oreilles et de se bander les yeux car il font de l’injustice envers tout les personnes qui qui travaillent vraiment je souhaite vraiment que des personnes remanies la direction de cette hôtel.

I would definitely work for Marriott again

What is the best part of working at the company?The management team for the F&B department was wonderful to work under! They not only cared about the needs of the guests, they truly cared about the needs of the employees. Great experience 😃😃😃What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Working as a bartender, it was stressful when business was slow. Slow business meant less money. This, however, had nothing to do with the Marriott itself What is the work environment and culture like at the company?The work environment is dependent on teamwork. The culture is about accomodation.

Good place

Good place to work even though you dont get up to your 40 hours a week unless your management and they don't really care to much if your struggling or don't make amends meet due to hour shortage as long as they work there and get there hours . You will be irrelevant if you haven't been there longer than your 90days

Productive and fun place.

The best job I ever had. Management is very supportive, making every day a good day. Work is fun and easy , with chance to meet new and interested people. Pay is excellent.

The right place to learn and gain new experiences

Some days could be hectic, rough, and exhausting but most days were super fun and productive. I gained a lot of valuable experiences during my internship here.

Easy job, but way too stressful for no good reason

What is the best part of working at the company?Some of the people are great to work withWhat is the most stressful part about working at the company?Trying to act like every day is the best day. You are not allowed to have a bad day. And if you are, don't dare show it. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?If whomever is reading this has seen the movie the Stepford Wives, that's the culture. If you haven't seen it, watch it before you thi nk about applying. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Stress, stress, making sure the one line cook girl doesn't cry, more stress, make sure HR always believes you're having the best day ever, more stress, keep making sure the line cook girl doesn't cry....and finally, clock out and go home.

Stressful workplace but colleagues are nice and guide you. Have to learn and do things fast. Get to learn many things. Multitasking is required.

If you truly want to gain experience in hospitality this is the place for you. You might have to work OT but the managers, the environment and the benefits are necessary for your growth
