Not for everyone
Housekeeper (Former Employee) - Warren, IN - October 1, 2023
Beware, this job is not for everyone. You need to be on your feet for up to 8 hours. You need to be able to bend and lift repeatedly. This job is best for those without disabilities. Do not expect accommodation.

Pros & cons…
Front Desk Clerk (Current Employee) - The Dalles, OR - September 27, 2023
A typical day at work is fixing mistakes and trying to get ahold of management that doesn't answer. Management has no regards to health or medical conditions. It’s a lax job, no major performance inhibitions. Management also has plenty of applications run through and refuse to hire pretty much anyone. They have only enough staff to work for the week with no extra.. (bare minimum staff)
Pros
$1 incentives for each hr for being on time to ur shift.
Cons
No breaks, management, short staff.

Fair pay but can get stressful
Housekeeper (Former Employee) - Calgary, AB - September 26, 2023
Worked there for a few months. I really enjoyed the environment with the co-workers but the management wasn’t reliable. Manager promised me to take sub training for supervisor and it all went downhill from there. Tho, I made a lot of money from there +good tips (stampede peak).

Miscommunications
Front Desk Receptionist (Former Employee) - Pinehurst, NC - September 25, 2023
Manager doesn’t know how to talk to people and can’t keep employees. Will fire you and don’t give an explanation. The building is run down and customers complain with no resolution on manager behalf. I would not recommend working for such a place.

Relaxing chill workplace
Front Desk Agent (Current Employee) - Boise, ID - September 19, 2023
For the most part, a good place to work. Chill managers, and an easygoing vibe. The downside of this vibe is a lack of professional behavior. Expect the occasional drama and a lack of strict policy

Underpaid
Breakfast Attendant (Former Employee) - St. Clairsville, OH - September 18, 2023
Underpaid and they have their favorites. Manager is barely ever in and has regular employees doing her job without extra compensation. Lazy workers got rewarded while hard workers got no appreciation. Not enough hours and pay is minimum wage

Okay
Front Desk Agent (Former Employee) - Emporia, KS - September 18, 2023
Alright place to work. Pay is mediocre and management is pretty good. Other staff is always cycling so can't say anything about how other staff. The customers are the worst part.

Not treated well the management constantly looked for things to pick apart in lieu of being particular or accurate but was not true.
Breakfast Attendant (Former Employee) - Salem, OR - September 18, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The guests came from everywhere and had lots of interesting stories. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management was either hovering or completely ignoring you. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Lots of rumors back biting and office politics. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I made buffet breakfast and helped guests with any items for breakfast they may need as well as refill food items. Part of my job was to chat up guests to make them feel at ease. Then clean up after as well as all public areas in the hotel.

Long Hours Small Pay
Front Office Manager (Former Employee) - Wethersfield, CT - September 16, 2023
Best part was interacting with guests from all over the world and people I worked with. Hardest part of the job was working 16 hours shifts if someone does not show up

Advice for the next General manager or Assistant manager
Directeur général (Current Employee) - Shawinigan, QC - September 11, 2023
Far away from being a hotel. No respect or any kind of appreciation. Owners far away of any relation with hotel industry. Ridiculous salary versus tasks asked. Not recommended to whom having a carrier in hotel industry. Good luck to everyone.

Horrible.
Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor (Former Employee) - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX - September 6, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I loved working the Night shift that’s it that’s all. It was very dirty I have pictures to prove , and management was horrible. That’s about all I have to say. The benefits with getting a room was ok . May be it’s a better experience else where but this particular one was garbage. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Management , and training. That’s it. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? I give it 2 stars. Not very diverse. What is a typical day like for you at the company? I worked nights it was very slow depending on the airport cancellations.

Stressful and not worth the pay for the hassle.
Supervisor Front End (Former Employee) - Schodack Landing, NY - September 6, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? the regulars that stay there. that was the only thing though. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Upper management's unrealistic expectations and their inability to chip in when needed or be there when extra help is needed and staff is overwhelmed. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? There was a ton of nepotism and favoritism. It made work very difficult and unfair. What is a typical day like for you at the company? It was full of stress. Especially when busy the night crew was always the shift to be left with no help and being overwhelmed with the amount of things that needed to be done.
