Physically exhausting workload with little accomodations

The work load constantly pushes you to your Physical limits without care for employees well-being. Company also actively refuses to hire Disabled workers. If you are hired and they find out after the fact that you are Disabled they will actively single you out and constantly discipline you for your Disabilities until you either quit or are fired due to "disciplinary issues".

Pros

Early access to Aldi find sales

Cons

Company refuses to offer Accomodations for any Disability

Probably my worst job

I hated it here. The management was very toxic and they never tried to help you at all. My co-workers tried helping me, but then the GM told them to stop socializing with me and GET BACK TO WORK! I felt very scared coming into work every day. I didn't last very long, but I'm so so glad I left.

Guter Arbeitgeber

Ambiente tossico peggio dell'Inferno Dantesco

Ti chiedono spesso cambi turno all'ultimo minuto.

Good pay and benefits, a lot of work

Like the title suggests, the pay and benefits are very competitive for the industry. But it is a ton of work, especially as you move into management. The worst part is that once you become an ASM or higher they can move you to any store in the area without your input.

Good work environment and great customers

Great staff, fun and enjoyable along with even cheaper prices than before. Although there can be some bad customers, most of em are pretty kind

Retaliation central

You cannot object to management to any level because they will retaliate against you and make you do what you enjoy the least to try to force you to quit. Meanwhile someone who never worked and sat in the office with the store manager for more than half of her shift got promoted to assistant manager.

Pros

The pay

Cons

Retaliation and no one will back you

Like a playground

This job is okay if you are looking to maybe only do it for a year or so whilst your waiting for something else to come along. Be prepared that every one knows everyone else's business. It spreads like wildfire and everyone will end up knowing your business by the end of the day. I was happy when I first started working there and then realised what it was actually like least to say never again. Yes the pay is good but the support for your mental health there is none, the support for being off ill there is none instead you get marked on a Bradford score and they creeps up high quick. Overall support from the managers hardly any. They are not there to help you. Your basically a number. If you have the mindset go to work head down go home then you may like it but I would suggest that's the only way to be at Aldi. Its basically adults acting like children.

Horrible Company!!!

Not much training on equipment, especially forklift. You literally move back and forth once and are certified. No set hours other than start time. You work until orders are filled each day. Many call offs on payday. Tons of produce dropped on the floor and still sent with orders to be sold in stores. Equipment never works properly. Cheap gear does NOTHING to truly keep you warm in the freezer.

Pros

High pay

Cons

Overworked for the high pay

Fast pace working

Working fast pace time goes fast but grand plenty of opportunity to climb ladder if you really want to being working there 15 years and still enjoy working with public

Productive and fun workplace

Best warehouse to work in by far mainly due to the competitive pay and also the people that work there. Most people will go out their way to give you a hand when needed and are friendly.

Can’t be scared of hard work

It’s a very good place to work Benifits, and pay are amazing although they do push you to be as efficient as possible and they time you on everything they do which makes for a very stressful first month or so but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.

Pros

401(k) matched 5% medical dental vision, vacation time, long term, and short term disability, sick time

Cons

Not a whole lot of work life balance

Its HARD!!

Aldi pays great!!! But.... They dog you out!! The work can be super brutal! But when its good its good. Its just very hard on your body. Its difficult to keep employees because everyone eants to be a cashier because they see you can sit down but they don't understand how many other things you have to do.

Has public job postings on indeed that are only for ALDI personnel.

Management had a complete lack of involvement in the interview process. Not interactive whatsoever, completely demeaning behavior. They waste peoples time and don’t get back to you even when they say you’ll be heard from or even when you repeatedly call that facility and can’t get ahold of anyone.

Pros

N/a

Cons

No communication. You’re just a number.
