Clinic Operations Manager

Job Summary

Purimedika is seeking an experienced and organized Clinic Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for staff coordination, patient flow, scheduling, resource management, quality standards, budgeting, and compliance while ensuring an efficient and positive patient experience. These responsibilities are consistent with common clinic operations management roles described by Indeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the clinic and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Coordinate patient registration, appointments, scheduling, and patient flow.
  • Supervise administrative and support staff and assist with workforce planning.
  • Develop staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing coverage.
  • Monitor clinic performance, productivity, service quality, and operational KPIs.
  • Establish and improve operational procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of patient service, privacy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with physicians, nurses, administrative personnel, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage clinic supplies, equipment, inventory, and procurement requirements.
  • Monitor operational expenses and assist with budgeting and financial management.
  • Coordinate billing, insurance administration, and related financial processes.
  • Maintain accurate administrative, operational, and patient-related records.
  • Ensure clinic activities comply with applicable healthcare regulations, safety requirements, and internal policies.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Address patient concerns and coordinate appropriate solutions to service issues.
  • Work with vendors, contractors, and external service providers as required.
  • Prepare operational reports and present performance updates to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Management, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in clinic, hospital, healthcare administration, or medical operations management.
  • Previous experience supervising healthcare or administrative teams.
  • Strong understanding of clinic workflows, patient services, scheduling, and healthcare administration.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, procurement, and operational reporting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) and healthcare management systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance, patient privacy, workplace safety, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
